2. Registration receipt of lodging from hotel or local police station (copy included);
3. One recently taken 2-inch full-face color photograph (the background should be white);
4. People come to visit relatives should submit ID card or certification of local relative (copy included):
a) Visiting residents in China’s inland, you should submit their ID card, permanent household register or temporary residence certificate;
b) Visiting overseas Chinese or residents from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, you should submit their travel documents and lodging certification for staying in Hangzhou over 6 months;
c) Visiting foreigners who residing in China, you should submit their passport and residence permit;
5. People come to see the doctor should submit the diagnosis by hospitals of the county level or above (copy included);
6. People come for other private business should submit relevant certification;
7. Completed “Visa or Residence Permit Application Form”.
8. Others if necessary.
II. Time required: 5 working days
What is “F” Visa：
"F" Visa is issued to an alien who is invited to China for a visit, an investigation, a lecture, to do business, scientific-technological and culture exchanges, short-term advanced studies or internship for a period of no more than six months.
Documents required to submit
1 . Official letter from the host unit, stating the basic information of applicant, reasons for applying, items and period of applying, etc. (copy of the business license and the registration certificate of the enterprise or representative office are also required);
2. Valid passport and visa (copy included);
3. Registration receipt of lodging from hotel or local police station (copy included);
4. One recently taken 2-inch full-face color photograph (the background should be white);
5. Completed “Visa or Residence Permit Application Form”.
6. Others if necessary.

What is “Z” Visa：
Documents required to submit
1. Official letter from the host unit, stating the basic information of applicant, reasons for applying, items and period of applying, etc. (*)

4. People come to invest or work should submit “Certificates of Employment” or “Certificates of Expert” (copy included);
5. People come to teach should submit “Certificates of Expert” (copy included);
6. People come to perform should submit the approval by the Ministry of Culture or the Provincial Cultural Bureau;
7. One recently taken 2-inch full-face color photograph (the background should be white); (*)
8. For people’s first applying for residence permit longer than one year should submit certification for health issued by the Zhejiang Entry-Exit Inspection And Quarantine Bureau; (applicants under the full age of 18 years are exempt) (*)
9. For the unit at first application should submit the copy of the business license and the registration certificate of the enterprise or representative office;
10. Completed “Visa or Residence Permit Application Form”. (*)
11. Others if necessary.

NOTES:
1. The above personnel’s accompanying spouse, parents or children under the full age of 18 should, apart from submitting documents indicated by (*), also submit certification for family relationship (If the certification is produced by foreign organizations, it needs to be attested by Chinese oversea consulates) and the copy of the worker’s passport and residence permit.
2. The certification for health is issued by Zhejiang Entry-Exit Inspection And Quarantine Bureau.
